Setting general and medication reminders

The Lumin Calendar helps Supporters keep users on track by setting reminders โ€” especially for medications and important events.

How to Add a Reminder

  1. Open the Lumin App on your phone.

  2. Tap on Calendar.

  3. Tap the orange + button at the bottom right.

  4. Choose the type of reminder:

    • Medication Reminder

    • General Reminder

Medication Reminder Setup

  • Enter all medication details (name, time, dosage, etc.).

  • Add special instructions in the Notes field (optional).

  • Tap Add when you're finished.

Editing a Reminder

  • Just tap the reminder you want to edit.

  • Make changes as needed.

  • Tap Update to save.

General Reminder Notes

  • Similar setup to medication reminders.

  • Additional options include:

    • End Time for the event.

    • Alarm Toggle (turn this on if you want an alert on the Lumin Screen).

      If the alarm is on, the user will see the reminder and must tap โ€œOKโ€ to acknowledge it.
